Leonard W. White was born June 14, 1909. He died Oct. 2, 1968 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Webster City, IA.

Pvt. White served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

White services will be Friday in this city

Funeral services for Leonard W. White, 59, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic church with Father B. G. Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary cemetery where graveside military rites will be held.

Rosary will be at 7:30 this evening at the Foster Funeral home.

Mr. White, a longtime resident of Webster City, died early Wednesday morning at St. Joseph’s hospital in South Bend, Ind. He had been in ill health for several months.

Leonard Welker White, was born June 14, 1909, in Des Moines. He was reared in the Webster City community and was graduated from Webster City high school.

He was united in marriage April 30, 1936, to Theresa Leonita Mullen, and the couple resided in Webster City where Mr. White was employed as a mail carrier for the U.S. post office.
