Lt. Burton L. Watts

 

 

 

Burton L. Watts was born Dec. 30, 1917 to Orville J. and Nora W. O’Donnell Watts. He was declared dead on Dec. 13, 1945 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Philippines.

Lt. Watts served with the 375th Bomb Squadron, 308th Bomb Group, U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II and was aboard a B-24D Liberator “The Bad Penny” which left China Apr. 1, 1943 on a flight from Chabua, India to Cengkung, China. He was originally reported MIA.
