Edward Francis Washington was born Mar. 16, 1918 to Edward T. and Francis Barnett Washington. He died Aug. 16, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint-James, Normandy, France.
Lt. Washington served in World War II with the U.S. Army 79th Field Artillery. He was KIA in France and was awarded the Purple Heart.
