Wendell C. Voss was born Nov. 7, 1919 to Rev. E. E. and Bertha A. Voss. He died July 12, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Pvt. Voss served in World War II with the U.S. Army 376th Field Artillery Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division and was MIA/KIA/FOD in Sicily. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
