Pvt. Fred A. Vermillion

 

 

 

 

Fred A. Vermillion was born in 1921 to Charles Milo and Alta Mae Robertson Vermillion. He died Feb. 4, 1945 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoze, France.

Pvt. Vermillion served in World War II with the U.S. Army 39th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
