Louis E. Van Anne was born Feb. 26, 1920 to Emil A. and Bernadine Ruysbroek Van Anne. He died Sept. 20, 1944 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Sgt. Van Anne served in World War II with the U.S. Army 81st Tank Battalion, 5th Armored Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
