Sheldon, Iowa – Henry Van Aaisburg, son of Mrs. Herbert Mastbergen of Sheldon has been promoted to staff sergeant at Camp Hood, Texas.

Henry “Hank” VanAaisburg was born May 12, 1919 to Gerrit and Sara Mastbergen VanAalsburg. He died Sept. 19, 2009 and is buried in Sheridan Township Cemetery, Boyden, IA. Hank served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
