Corporal Paul R. Underwood, of Camp Bowie, Texas, is spending a 10-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Underwood, 410 Myrtle Street.

Paul Ralph Underwood was born Oct. 21, 1921 to W. H. and Mary Gertrude Mack Underwood. He died Jan. 6. 1981 and is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, NE.
Paul served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
