Pvt. Rodney Myron Turner

 

 

Rodney Myron Turner was born Feb. 22, 1922 to Purley E. and Grace Bell Armintrout Turner. He died June 6, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.

Pvt. Turner served in World War II with the U.S. Army 18th Infantry regiment, 1st Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in the invasion of Normandy, France and was awarded the Purple Heart.
