Capt. Everett Tripp

 

 

 

Mapleton, Iowa:  Lieut. and Mrs. George Rice are at home on a 10-day leave from Baltimore, Md.  Mrs. Rice visited her parents, Capt. and Mrs. Everett Tripp before they left for Camp Wallace, Texas, where Capt. Tripp reported for duty in the anti-aircraft artillery.

-- Capt. Everett G. Tripp, owner of the Mapleton, Iowa Press, who returned to duty in the army in April after serving two years in the first World War and then returned in the infantry reserve corps, is attending an army refresher course at Camp Wallace and learning about the new antiaircraft weapons. Mrs. Tripp and daughter, Joan, are living in Galveston, about 20 miles from Camp Wallace.

Everett Grantson Tripp was born June 28, 1893 to Henry A. and Gertrude L. Grantson Tripp. He died Oct. 1982 in CO.
