Anthon, Iowa—Private First Class John Franklin Taylor, son of Mrs. Minnie Taylor, has recently been graduated from gunnery school at Laredo army air field at Laredo, Texas. He is now stationed at Buckley field, Denver, Colorado, for further training for radio aerial gunnery in the army air forces.

Anthon, Iowa—Word has been received that John Franklin Taylor has been promoted to sergeant, skipping the corporal rating. Sergeant Taylor, an aerial gunner in the army air corps stationed at Lowry Field, Denver, Colorado, is the son of Mrs. Minnie Taylor. He enlisted in January, 1943.

John Franklin Taylor was born Sept. 9, 1924 to Franklin Joseph and Minnie E. Carlson Taylor. He died Nov. 30, 2012 and is buried in Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
