Chief Steward A. D. Tate

 


BROTHERS SERVE U.S. -- Sons of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Tate of Manly are giving their best service to their country in its fight against aggressors. Chief Steward A.D. Tate has been in the service for 9 years and is now somewhere in the south Pacific. He has crossed the equator 3 times.

Cpl. LaValle Tate entered the service in April, 1943, and after training in Ft. Snelling, Minn., was stationed at Devens, Mass. Both young men are graduates of Manly high school.
