Neil Kent Sturtz was born May 14, 1922. He died Nov. 7, 2002 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Stratford, IA.

Sgt. Sturtz was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Crew Chief for the 611 Bomber Squadron.
