Ute, Iowa—Flight Officer Archie O. Steen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Steen of Ute, has been transferred to Bowman field, Louisville, Kentucky.

Archie Orlando Steen was born May 8, 1916 to Chris Andrew and Anna Nelson Steen. He died July 28, 2008 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin, MN.
Capt. Steen served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.
