James Andrew Soesbe was born Oct. 5, 1922 to Philip C. and Frances B. Siegel Soesbe. He died Sept. 24, 1944 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial, Margraten, Netherlands.
Lt. Soesbe served with the U.S. Army Air Corps 752nd Bomber Squadron, 458th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA/FOD off the coast of Holland. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
