EDWIN VAUGHN SMYTH
Edwin Vaughn Smyth was born Sept. 14, 1899 at Des Moines, Iowa. He enlisted in the Navy in October 1942 and was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Station near Chicago. He held the rank of 3rd Class Petty Officer. He stayed at there for 8 months until he was released because of age limit.
