Sgt. Burdet Wesley Smock

 

 

Burdet Wesley Smock was born Mar. 1, 1915 to Ernst and Emma Jaster Smock. He died Nov. 10, 1944 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoze, France.

Sgt. Smock served in World War II with the U.S. Army 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division and was KIA in the European area. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
