Donald Lawrence Smith was born Oct. 7, 1926 to Virgil O. and Marie J. Johnson Smith. He died Aug. 18, 2007 and is buried in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Manitowoc, WI.
Sgt. Smith served with the U.S. Army in World War II in France, Belgium, Holland, and Berlin.
