Charles Gerald Shumaker was born Oct. 3, 1906 to George Ira and Anna Echer Shumaker. He died Mar. 20, 1974 and is buried in Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls, IA.
Sgt. Shumaker served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II with the 97th Bomb Group.
