Jack A. Shearman, Jr.

IN UNIFORM

Flight Officer Jack A. Shearman, Jr. son of Jack A. Shearman, Sioux City Country Club, entered the aerial offensive against Germany recently in a heavy bombardment attack upon the railroads at Soest. The officer is a navigator of the Eighth air force Fortress, “Ol” 13,” in the 385th bombardment group based in England. He was a student at Creighton University, Omaha, before entering the air force in August 1943 and received his wings at Ellington field, Houston, Texas in October 1944.
