James Franklin Scully was born Sept. 20, 1922 to Daniel L. and Mary E. Scully. He died July 30, 1943 and is buried in Oakview Cemetery, Albia, IA.

Pvt. Scully served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry, 34th Division and died in Tunisia, North Africa, Hill 609.
