Capt. George W. Scott

IN UNIFORM

Capt. George W. Scott of the army medical corps in a letter to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Scott, Jr., told of a trip across the Sea of Japan from Luzon to the port city of Pusan in southern Korea. The group of vessels of which the one Capt. Scott was on was a part was turned back to Leyte to tarry several days for the abatement of a typhoon. The probability appears to be that Capt. Scott’s division, the 40th, will be sent back to the United States about March. Capt. Scott wrote that he enjoyed the cooler weather after having spent 23 months in the tropics.
