Stuart Eugene ‘Stu’ Schlafke was born July 4, 1921 to Otto Frankford ‘Frank’ and Marie Christina Anderson Schlafke. He died Aug. 13, 1986 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Jewell, IA.
Stuart served with the U.S. Coast Guard in World War II.
