James Louis Sayers was born Sept. 18, 1923 to William and Mabel Rogers Sayers. He died Apr. 12, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.
Pvt. Sayers served in World War II with the U.S. Army 329th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division and was MIA/KIA in Germany and awarded the Purple Heart.
