Edward F. Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Rogers, 1706 S. Palmetto Street, has been promoted to corporal at the Stockton, California ordnance base.

Francis Edward “Ed" Rogers was born May 5, 1919 to Perry P. and Emma P. Schwarm Rogers. He died Oct. 2, 2002.
Ed served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.
