Robert Roepke, aviation machinist's mate third class, was transferred last week from Navy Pier, Chicago, Ill.; to the naval air base in Ottumwa, Ia. The son of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Roepke, 217 Baltimore, he was employed by John Deere Tractor company before his enlistment July 23, 1942.
