Donald Van Robison was born Jan. 21, 1924 to Robert Hamill and Edith Eliza Van Fleet Robison. He died Mar. 19, 1944 and is buried in South English Cemetery, South English, IA.
Cpl. Robison served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 330th Combat Crew Training Squadron from Biggs Field, near El Paso, TX and died in an airplane crash while on a routine training flight. He was one of nine airmen killed when RB-24E Liberator #42-64398 crashed five miles southeast of the airfield.
