Sloan, Iowa – Special: Four sons of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Redmond of this community are in the armed forces of the United States. The four are Private Raymond Redmond, Port Angeles, Washington: Private Gale Redmond, Seattle, Washington: Aviation Cadet Glen Redmond, Garden City, Kansas and Private Lowell Redmond, Camp Callan, California. Raymond is the oldest of the four sons, being 31. The ages of the others are Gale, 25, Glen, 22, and Lowell, 20.
