Sgt. Leonard N. Raner

 

Leonard N. Raner was born Oct. 14, 1917 to Clarence and Lydia Pietz Raner. He died Apr. 4, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Sgt. Raner served in World War II with the U.S. Army 242nd Infantry Regiment, 42nd Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
