Robert Bert Ryner was born July 18, 1921 to Teofulous and Ida Louise Kirk Ryner. He died Jan. 5, 1945 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Epinal, France.
Sgt. Ryner served in World War II with the U.S. Army 324th Infantry, 44th Division and died of wounds received in action in France and was awarded the Purple Heart.
