Khairom Harolde Rummells was born Oct. 28, 1921 to Harolde Josiah and Elsie Cheeseman Pratt Rummells. He died Jan. 16, 1945 and was initially buried in Belgium and later moved to Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City, IA.
Lt. Rummells served in World War II with the U.S. Army 23rd Infantry, 2nd Infantry Division and was KIA in the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium.
