Frederick William Roese was born Nov. 11, 1907 to John George and Bertha Jesse Roese. He died Aug. 28, 1944 and is buried in Brittany American Cemetery, Saint James, France.
Pvt. Roese served in World War II with the 119th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division. He was KIA in France and was awarded the Purple Heart.
