Japanese in Army Are Good Soldiers, Says Sioux Cityan

Capt. Donald M. Renfro returned to Fort Leavenworth, Kansas Wednesday, where he is stationed with the United States army after a visit here with his wife and children at their home at 3434 Douglas Street. He arrived in Sioux City Saturday.

Capt. Renfro is in charge of one of the companies at the camp which is a clearing house for new army recruits.

One group among those commanded by Capt. Renfro is composed of Japanese-Americans. These men are excellent soldiers and show the same high degree of interest as the other men, Capt. Renfro said.
