Pvt. Ross L. Proudfit

Ross Lilburn Proudfit was born Dec. 3, 1922 to John H. and Grace G. Campbell Proudfit. He died Jan. 31, 1943 is buried in North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.

Pvt. Proudfit served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry, 168th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division and was KIA in Tunisia, North Africa. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
