Charles Milo Polton was born May 11, 1926 to Cleason and Marcella Mae Florang Polton. He died Apr. 12, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands.

Pvt. Polton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 329th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
