Floyd A. Pippett, seaman second class, has returned to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.W. Pippett, 1102 S. Alice Street, having received a medical discharge from the navy. After contracting a tropical fever in the Pacific, he was hospitalized in Hawaii. He was at the Santa Cruz, California, Naval Hospital when his service discharge became effective June 26.
