Roger Wilfred Peterson was born Nov. 19, 1921 to Wilfred F. and Eleanor Mavis Jones Peterson. He died May 13, 1943 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Forest City, IA.
Aviation Cadet Peterson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died while on a routine training flight north of the Douglas army air base flying field near Hereford, AZ.
