News About Men in Service From Over Northeast Iowa

Reinbeck—Allan Paton, son of Al Paton of Reinbeck, in New Guinea with the armed forces, writes of going into the cook house one day and there he found the cooks busily engaged in opening up about 300 cans of sweet corn. Thinking the labels looked familiar, Paton took a close look and found it was Reinbeck cream style sweet corn that was on the menu for dinner that day.
