Sgt. Thomas Dee Parsons

 

 

Thomas Dee Parsons was born Nov 25, 1921 to Harry and Henrietta Mary Parsons. He died Mar. 19, 1944 and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Sgt. Parsons served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was MIA/KIA/FOD as a crew member in a B-24 (Liberator) bomber which departed its base in Italy on a combat bombing mission to Klagenfurt, Austria. The plane was badly damaged by enemy aircraft fire and set on fire and crashed in the mountains of Yugoslavia and burned.
