Cpl. Howard G. Parmer

Corporal Howard Glendon Parmer of Van Wert has been reported missing in action since the Rommel push in Tunisia, February 17, according to his mother, Mrs. Delia Barber, who moved to Fort Des Moines, March 1.

Corporal Parmer, who has been in the service for two years, is a graduate of the Decatur high school. This brings the total of men in our armed forces “missing in action” from Decatur county to nine.
