A farewell party was held Wed. eve at the John Oostra home near Rock Valley in honor of Ralph Oostra, who leaves this week for army service.  Mrs. Ralph Oostra and baby will live in the place just west of J. Wolfswinkel Sr.

Sgt. Ralph Oostra is spending a 30 day furlough here with his wife and parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Oostra Sr.  He has been stationed in Central Africa.
