Cushing, Iowa—Robert Ohme, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer H. Ohme was commissioned a second lieutenant in the army April 6 at Fort Benning, Georgia. Accompanied by his bride, the former Miss Florence Walker of Sidney, Iowa, he is on leave at the home of his parents. He will be stationed at Camp Howze, Texas.

Cushing, Ia.--Lieut. Robert Ohme has returned to Camp Howze, Texas. He and his wife spent a few days here at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer H. Ohme.

Robert Burdette Ohme was born May 8, 1922 to Elmer H. and Rachael Norland Ohme. He died July 7, 2006 and is buried in Resthaven Cemetery, West Des Moines, IA.

Robert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
