Major Martin O. Nesheim

 

RAKE PHYSICIAN BECOMES A MAJOR.
Dr. Martin O. Nesheim to Study at Rochester.

Rake—Capt. Martin O. Nesheim, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Nesheim of Rake, who has been at Shreveport, La., for the past 7 months, has been promoted to major in the army.  He was appointed to take a special 9 months course in surgery at the Mayo clinic at Rochester, Minn.

Major Nesheim entered the service in October, 1942, and was stationed at Camp Barkley, Abilene, Texas, before being sent to Louisiana.  Dr. Nesheim practiced at Emmons, Minn., prior to his enlistment.  His wife and 2 sons, Paul and John, moved from Abilene, Texas, to Rochester this week.
