Rolfe, Ia.—Mr. and Mrs. Fred Nelson of Rolfe, Ia., have received word from the War Department that their son, Lt. Raymond Nelson, was wounded in action on December 17. He has been serving in France with an engineers battalion of Gen. Patton’s Third Army.

Raymond Lloyd Nelson was born Aug. 14, 1915 to Fred P. and Juanita Edwards Nelson. He died Jan. 15, 1990 and is buried in New Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, CA.
