Eighty men from Kossuth county lost their lives while in the service of their country in World War II.

Albin Eugene Nelson was born Mar. 27, 1921 to Albin E. and Clara Christenson Nelson. He died July 9, 1944 and is buried in Blakjer Lutheran Church Cemetery, Seneca, IA.

Pvt. Nelson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 331st Infantry and was MIA/KIA in Normandy, France.
