Edmund John Nell was born Aug. 6, 1925 to John Hartman and Pauline Augusta Murken Nell. He died Apr 18, 1945 and is buried in Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Boone Co., IA.
Pvt. Nell served with the U.S. Army 184th Infantry in World War II. He died of wounds received in action in Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands.
