Vernon Doyle Nappier was born Nov. 28, 1920 to George Levy and Dolcie J. Nappier. He died Apr. 8, 1944.
Sgt. Nappier served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was MIA/KIA/FOD in Germany on a bombing mission from a base in England. The formation he was flying in was attacked by enemy aircraft and five planes were lost within a very few minutes.
