Merle L. Morrison was born Jan. 19, 1923 to George W. and Hazel N. Dalton Morrison. He died Sept. 19, 1944 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Pvt. Morrison served in World War II with the U.S. Army 164th Infantry and died in Bougainville, France as the result of a swimming accident.
