Robert Matthaides, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Matthaides of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Radzuweit, 2416 Seventh Street, has finished his preliminary coast guard training at St. Augustine, Florida, and has been transferred to Point Allerton coast guard station, Hull, Mass.

Robert Paul Matthaidess was born May 19, 1922 to Paul Herbert and Charlotta R. Radzuweit Matthaidess. He died Feb 18, 1994, and is buried in Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
