DISPATCHES ON BOYS NAVY IS SENDING HOME

A recent Navy dispatch from Pearl Harbor announced that Jos. R. Esser, Whittemore, was being returned to the States for discharge on the U. S. Laurens, which left Okinawa Dec. 25, and was scheduled to arrive in San Francisco, Jan. 11.

Another dispatch related to Frank T. Mullin, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Mullin, Wesley, Iowa, who had been in service 31 ½ months, but failed to say what was the news concerning him, though apparently he was to be discharged. He is married and his wife lives at Kansas City.

A dispatch from Great Lakes, Ill., reported the Navy discharge of James N. Logan, Algona, and Thelma Jeannette Kinseth, Bode, and another Great Lakes dispatch reported discharge of Cleo Gabel Stubbe, Ledyard, and Floyd K. Johnson, Swea City.

Another Great Lakes dispatch received yesterday reported discharge of Donald T. Prew, Algona and a dispatch from Pearl Harbor said Wayne E. Douglas, of the Navy, husband of Mrs. Reva Douglas, here, was on board the ship USS Santa Fe, which left Guam Dec. 25, and was expected to reach San Francisco last week Wednesday. Douglas was to be discharged.
